Single Tire Replacement - Using Pressure Sensor?
Road debris destroyed one of my OEM Bridgestones. (less than 10k on tires)
Is there a tire pressure sensor in the tire itself, as well as one on the stem? And can they all be used (and easily removed/reinstalled) with the new replacement tire? I'm more than 2 hours from the nearest Toyota dealer so I plan on using a local shop after receiving my replacement tire from Tire Rack. Thanks in advance. |

The sensor is part of the valve stem, so you should be OK.

Just make sure the tire place doesn't F-UP the sensor when they're dismounting the tire. Make sure to let them know its there.
