New Seats / New Engine mods / New Suspension mods / updates (also added 201hp)

I've been working on the Yaris for a while in my free time (free time on weeknights and weekends)

Here's what I've added in this round of modifications.

-TRD Rear anti-roll bar.
-Sparco Chrono Road seats
-Sparco Sliders
-Planted Technologies seat brackets
-KEYS racing suede shift knob (mad tyte JDM yo)
-CF mirror covers
-Tooter manifold
-Corolla Throttle body ( I polished it)
-DC Sports Header
-MicroImage Red Silicone Rad hoses
-Mishimoto colder Thermostat (65?deg instead of 82?)
-Throttle body coolant bypass
-Ecliptech sequential shift light (not wired yet)
-Custom Blue valve cover
-Diehard Platinum series battery (Comes from the same factory as the odyssey Car-Audio batteries but its grey and cheaper) (yes this battery is a heavy monster but I need it for my audio pursuits)

At a local show this weekend

Seats & Planted Technology brackets

Mad Tyte Jdm shift knob

I also wanted some more power and luxury amenities, so rather than try to figure out how to cram them into the Yaris, I instead went out and got a 2013 Civic Si as a Daily driver.

Its staying relatively simple (Daily driver status) and so far it only has

-H&R sports springs
-Takeda Intake
-TSW Interlagos forged wheels

Before I clicked on the thread, I was stoked to see a 300hp Yaris! Sweet new ride though :)

Lolz

Nope, although I am thinking on how to get more power out of it (the Yaris)

have you done anything with the exhaust on the yaris?

I saw your other thread and wondered that there too but didn't post.

I know you have done the header but what about the rest of it?

I am very happy with the gains I have gotten on mine and all I have done (for power) is the intake, header, exhaust (not axle back), and light weight pulley.

I have done other things like springs, sway bar, short shifter (x2), and so on.

you may want to consider the exhaust as it seemed to help a lot for me. Malibuguy made mine and it is mandrel bent 2" with a glass packed muffler. I painted it with barbecue paint (black) so as not to be too showey.

Love the Si. I think 2004 was the last year of the hatchback Si. Great looking cars all around.

Thanks

16x6.5 (+42mm?)

I'm the exact opposite of stance / stretch / poke (which I despise)

I'm all about function, hence why I searched for a rim that was only 6.5" wide (not the usual 7") and with a proper offset to allow me to aggressively lower the car with zero clearance issues whatsover

With this "fitment" I have no fender rub / no body damage / its not wearing the wheel bearings at an accelerated rate / I haven't had to compromise the paint or the wheel wells with fender modifications etc...

And as an added bonus they are only 11.xx lbs

I have a full exhaust (manifold back) sitting on the floor of my garage, but I haven't installed it yet out of not knowing how loud it might be and the fact that it doesn't have a Cat.

I've got the stuff that you mentioned, I guess the exhaust is the next thing.

I'd prefer one from Malibuy guy to the one I have now (the not installed one), but I never seemed to be able to resolve pricing / options etc. with him

Yup, 2004/5 was the last year of the Hatchback, that was the "EP3" (with the shifter on the dash). I had one of those from 2002-04 and I loved it.

I also had an 8th Gen (the version in between the last Hatchback and the current 9th gen) , and that was also a great car.

I will say that it took him a while to get back to me on mine... a long while. it was worth the wait though.

Mine is a resonator back (state inspections are a bitch) though it makes it 2" all the way through.

I don't have the intake manifold as I can't justify the $700 garm wants for it yet (though I have tried) and I am still iffy on tooters.

you could also see if your car is getting into closed loop. that T-stat of yours is running really cold. What is that, like 160F or so? I thought for performance, you wanted to go hotter? I always heard that for performance go from a 180 to a 195 but that was years ago (damned americans and their Fahrenheit). not sure if you have a scangauge but you could check loop being open or closed using it.

The shifter on the 2004's looked way too much like a falice. I will say that they were very strong for their weight. I miss the old honda hatches. kind of the reason I got a yaris. not a big fan of the fit. I miss the low and wide honda civics of my youth...
