INTERMITTENT PROBLEM STARTING

hi guys.

I'm a newcomer here, so sorry if this is a silly question.

my wife's car is difficult to start, feels like a fuel problem. dirty filter or pump. is it possible to do a DIY job on this problem

Yes. The fuel sender assembly (pump, filter, gauge sender) is located within the tank. There is an access panel on the floor below the rear seats of the car.
