Wet or Dry?

It's raining here today. I always like my car more when it rains. Some like it freshly washed and waxed under the shining sun. What say you?

...one from the back just for S&G's. It's been a while since I've taken/posted any pics of the Vader helmet.

Lol vader helmet, awesome. Agreed, rain makes most paint jobs pop. Your Yaris looks very well taken care of.

Thanks. I've been fortunate enough to work from home for nearly 5 yrs now, so it doesn't get daily driven. I've got about 58k on it. I know all the dings and scratches like the back of my hand, but for an 8 yr old car, it's in good shape.

Rain 2
Sunny 0

I should have made this post a poll lol.

Here in NJ (near Philly) its drier and cooler than average this year. We're in a pattern of cooler weather the past five or so years.

Given your water situation in CA you are wise to allow the rain to take care of your car!

ern-diz,
Where did you get your hubcaps? My Yaris is black and would like to get rid of my stock caps. How much were your hubcaps?
Thanks.

From a fellow black Yaris owner, I love seeing how my car looks just after rain fall. Definitely makes it pop a bit more.

Yeah, had errands to run that day, so it worked out. Car washes are also good because I think most have water recycling systems.

Sad to hear u think my wheels look like hubcaps lol. They're actually alloy wheels, not hubcaps. I got them 7 yrs ago and they ran me $800 with some cheap Sunny tires on them, which I later replaced with the Toyo's I have on the car now.

Yeah, but it's been years. I'm not aware of any happening in the OC/LA/IE area. If they are, they're not posting about them here.

Here's a link to some pics I took back in '07 and re-posted recently...
