Got Hit

Had a car roll through a stop sign and hit my passenger door. Both of us were going slow and the other car was a Toyota RAV4 and my passenger door actually scraped her front bumper. Looks like a lot of black paint that might rub off. Although my Yaris suffered some scratches that went below paint leaving some on her car. I was going to see if it would rub off but after she starting saying she didnt hit me and tried saying the damage was already there. Good thing white paint was on her bumper. Other driver was given a ticket for careless driving. I dont see any dent so probably need to repaint door. Any idea on the cost of the damage?

Did you try rubbing it out first, if the scratches are deep no more than 200 or so but the pics should be more visible meaning the whole vehicle to get an idea

I can't believe that the other driver tried to say that the damage was already there. Hope her insurance will cover the cost to repair the damage to your car.

If they won't pay, start suing!!!

Touch-up paint

I got touch up paint for my Yaris here: http://www.expresspaint.com/. It was $14.95 for a touch up pen. It's embarrassing how I got the scratches. I tried to get too close to the car with my snowblower in my dirt driveway, hit something and veered into it.

I also got a can of touch up paint for another $17.95. I haven't used any of it yet.
