If you think it looks low enough, then it's low enough.

First time I've ever heard someone say a stock yaris looks "pretty low"!

yea first for me too! i thought my yaris was a boat. whenever I'm in a parking lot i just look for the highest roof that isnt a 4wd and its most likely my yaris!

ive lowered it now :P I can no longer see it over other cars. its a small price to pay! :D

I actually like the ground clearance of the stock Yaris. I had a 73 Camaro that naturally lowered itself. Sometimes sparks would fly if I took dips and crowns too fast.

the 4x4 stance doesn't fit the Yaris' personality

I don't think it has anything to do with the ride height. It's more of a design issue. The high roof gives the impression of a car with a higher ground clearance.

It just doesn't seem necessary to me since I've always had way too much head room. I'm 6'1", but still when I sit in it and look up at the ceiling I feel like a little kid that needs a carseat. Never understood why it's like that, but I'm guessing off the top of my head it has to do with added safety in some way.

IMO the LB should've had a slightly lower roofline, much like the Civic Si/hatchback from the 90's. A chop down of a few inches would do wonders, especially if it means enhancing its' sporty looks.

The point is you would never have to lower an Si to make it "look low". Maybe the Yaris will be offered like that in a few years.

I agree, the roofline could use a chop of a couple of inches. It would look great. As far as lowering, TRD at 1.5 - 1.8 for me was perfect. With the added feel I can swerve around the pot holes.

Yeah my yaris after trd springs is the same hight as my acura legend. Our cars have horrendus fender gap. The only other car that may have had simular or more was my 240sx. Now that was bad. Even after i lowerd it it didnt look lowerd.
