Rim Colour Straw Poll

Hi guys - I'm ready to get my Rota RBs (with polished lip) and am interested in what rim colour would go best with my Black Sand Pearl 4 dr HB. I'm going with 16X7 rims and 195/50/16 Continental DWS rubber, and it'll be dropped on Tokico HP blues with H&R springs:

1) Royal Black (a la Coffiend's XXR 513s)

2) Silver (a la BlackVitz)

3) Hyper Black

4) Gun Metal

I'm leaning to hyper black or gunmetal. I know it's subjective but would love to see pics or hear arguments that change my mind in the next 10 days or so.

Thanks

that wheel is a classic retro look, silver works for it. Further, black with polished lip is played out for me. Of course, these are just my opinions -- it's not my car!

Yeah - love that look and the car. That shot actually drew me to the XXR 513s until I saw the offset options in that rim. This brought me to the RBs. Much as I love the rolled look I'm not going there.

I may be ordering some H&R spacers from you once I see how it sits though

Bronze on black would be my first choice.

Out of your choices though, silver. Hyper Black will look like just a steel wheel on a black car, which is useless. Black with polish is nearly the same thing so it just looks like steelies w trim rings. Silver or gunmetal.

Me personally though, I'm doing red TE37s or Slips on my car.

TE37's are sweet skates but too rich for moi. Love to see some pics on your ride when you get them.

I'll likely go with Slips. Like you said, TEs are a pretty nickel. Hope your car turns out the way you like as well.

I'm now leaning silver. Has anyone had any experience with the gun metal or hyper black finish on these wheels? Silver's definitely classic and I'm thinking safe as far as finish. Comments?

I'm rocking silver on mine and like it, but I like dark wheels on a dark car so I voted gunmetal.

I'd either go silver or match the rim hub/spokes to the colour of the car.
