Spark Plug Problem

We switched out my spark plugs around 1am last night, then put everything together and called it a night. This morning when i fired it up, the car sounded loud and slow. Misfire I assume? When we made a 2am walmart run, the ONLY fitting spark plugs wal mart had were 2 copper and 2 platinum...was it possible that's what caused the bad idle? Also, when placing the spark plugs in, do they snap or pop in? maybe only 2 are in correctly? I'm not sure, but it doesn't sound good.

Any suggestions?

Did i void the powertrain warranty by switching plugs?

did you check the gap on the new spark plug.. i dont trust the manufacturers stock gap..also did you make sure you lined up the same ignition coil for each plug..

how big do you recommend the gap should be? i pulled the ones i bought straight from package and put them in without tampering. Gonna go to auto zone and buy a full set of iridiums after work today and try this again.

i want the same plugs, but new. hoping auto zone carries them. i think 3924 was the fitment. when i went to get plugs i had to look it up in a phone book of spark plug sizes.

He must have something else in mind regarding a gap-tool and the need for shows of that sort.
