part question

The short ram came with this black cylinder with two metal threaded peices coming out of each side.
I need to know what is it for and where do i put it?

I will work on a better picture.

its like a ram mount, one end attach to the short ram the other end attach to the car, let me guess,you bought the weapon R intake???
