Installed! Man it seemed like a tight fit getting my big ol arms down past the battery. got a cut or two but whatever, i dont care. Feel's nice. Can see the difference, will drive today so, yeah ill be back on later to tell all. And for all who can, i wouldnt have minded having a buddy manufacturing a simliar piece. They really know how to up the price on tiny metallic objects. but hey man its all good.

"What's an emoticon?"

I'm not pissing on innovation... I'm fighting price gouging. Honestly, I could make my own TRD short shifter with a block of fucking wood.

it's not price gouging when there is customer based brand equity.

plus the R&D in the part (you know, them testing, prototyping, starting over, paying the engineers, more testing, failing, figuring out this and that, time in general) has to get paid for.

TRD and most other OEM supported Aftermarket companies tend to have higher prices for multiple reasons, but one of them is the quality has to be top notch to get the TRD stick or label, most replicas are built with less care, less q/a, and higher tolerances.

either way, I can't stop you or the replica companies in china from making knock off parts, I just hope your part goes through the same testing the TRD part did before you sell it b/c it'd suck for a shift linkage to pop when you're trying to shift into 5th getting on the high way and there is a semi behind you about to plow through the back of your yaris.....

farfetched sure, but you get my point.

also, please besure not to sell it "as" a TRD part or TRD Style, Toyota isn't small and like to protect their intellectual property and if it's produced here in the states you could be in trouble.

just looking out.
