Question GTradial Champiro IcePro ( studdable ) winter tire : Anyone using these or know of ..

someone that has / had them ? Noticed these in a tire shop . Very impressed with the tread design ( aggressive ) , deep sipes ( gripping ) and being able to stud them to get extra bite on ice / snow packed surfaces . Supposed to be less expensive than other major brands . These are from China . Called a local tire dealer and said they've been dependable and many buyers like them . Had him look up some and they're all sold out of the size in need .

Can't comment on the winter tyre, but the affordable all season GT Radial Champiro VP1 gets a good overall rating and works very well on the Yaris for everyday driving. Plus, the tread design virtually eliminates annoying highway wander on our little cars.

Where you're located, you probably need dedicated winter rubber on all 4 corners. Hope someone here is running them to give you first hand feedback on how they perform.

These are on my wife's Honda Civic. Excellent tires! A little road noisy compared to higher end snow tires but they get the job done. Even on the low slung Honda. Hope this helps!
