Resurrecting old post to post good link.

https://www.getsquash.com/

Ebay has them listed from 1.00 - 21.00 and then add in the shipping...the site above is $10.00 and currently offering free shipping.

Received mine pretty fast.

Do my open windows count? :P
So far, I'm loving the new car smell. Probably I won't be putting any because in my experience all smell too chemical and the smell goes away within 2-3weeks tops.

if you get that squash thing that blackRabbit has.. it lasts for a long time ^^

Mine lasted for quite some time. Then I started to get use to the smell I think? But others told me it smelled great :D

air fresheners make me sick, i feel like puking when i ride for a while in a car with one in it, must be allergic or something.

so i go with the natural smell which so far hasn't been too bad....as long as i don't forget my hockey bag in it, i'm ok.

Is there any way to get the new car smell back? What do the dealers use anyway?

I agree with Stuffy, I get sick (in my case migraines) triggered from the artificial fragrances in air fresheners. I avoid them like the plague. I have to be careful of what I use to clean or condition the inside of my car as well.

I heard recently of a study anyways that those chemicals are building up to toxic levels in peoples bodies, so it's just as well, I think.

I use Lee Vallley's Volcanic Deodorizer that is all natural. It doesn't add a smell but absorbs thems, keeping things neutral. I keep it under the passenger seat in my current car...not sure where I will hide it in my new Yaris when I get it.
