Got some body parts in the mail, test fit! Yay!
Ings+ Rear
Ings+ Sides AND C-one Wing Obviously have to get them painted, just test fitted everthing today to see how much work needs to be done. A Bit needs to be done, and believe I will need some new tail lights to make it fit properly. so tell me what you think. and, I know, i have to figure out something for the front bumper, maybe just a HD lip until I can figure something out for the 09 front. So here you go And the tail light issue |

Lookin' good!
I think if you pick up the RS tails that Micro Image carries, that should solve your fitment issues with the rear. |

I concur.
Also, HD (Home Depot, right?) lip ftw! hahaha, although I call mine a splitter since my car already has a lip. hahaha. |

Will look pretty good when you get everything fitted and get a front bumper or lip

Yes, to test fit we removed the rear crash beam. we will cut it off just past the bolting point so we can fit it, and still retain the crash beam.
and yes Home depot lip, its kinda as a test to see how much I may scrap the lip up, to see if it makes sense to have a new front bumper or not. And yeah, they do look like crap when you get em from the place. But its just their base paint they put on there, it will be sanded and properly prepped and what not. But im really excited and think it will look great. and yes, i know, rear reflectors |

Looks good, glad to know the fitment is decent. That's the kit I sell BTW.

Well it needs some love here and there to fit perfectly, the exhaust is set like 2 or 3" to the right side of the exhaust hole, the sides that meat the fender by the door, arent just perfect, and the rear where it sits just below the weather stripping needs to come up a bit.
But I expected it with a fiberglass replica. All in all, im pretty darn happy. just wish that black paint stayed on their better for now. just sitting out in the sun that long made it bubble and peel Last edited by wildmongoose26; 07-19-2009 at 11:49 AM. |

Ok, it all looks good but I'll admit that I'm lost on just one little thing but what's this "home depot" lip that's being mentioned?
<---- noob here so I'm dumb about some things :) I don't see a lip on the front of the car and something tells me that I'm missing the obvious. Can someone explain please? Thanks, S.R. |

There is no lip on the car yet. Basically its the weather stripping for the bottom of the garage door or something of that nature. Kinda a hard plastic/foam material.
going to do that mainly to see how she does with that low of a front to let her test it out and see how she does. |

I can't find the home depot thread to save my life.... and I know I saw it the other day.....
but if you just google search home depot lip you will find some other car forums showing how it works and how to put it on |
