Red face Another one of those threads - tire sizing

I'm looking to get some 15x7 +40 Konig Rewinds.

Just wondering what the optimal tire size would be? I'm on DF210's. I'd actually like a bit of a stretched tire look, but nothing extreme.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, the 195's will give you a bit of a stretched look. That's what I've got going on with my 17x7 Blitz rims. The only downside is that I curb more often than ever because there's no more buffer zone with the tires anymore.

Just go 15x8 195/45 for stretch. Rota RBs are similar to the Rewinds and come in more sizes and offesets. I do know how people feel about Rotas so don't burn me at the steak for offering them.

hahah nice :)

and yes, if you want to stretch, you better do it on a wide wheel..

"stretching" on a 7" wheel is like putting a size 16 girl in a size 12 dress.....

Only reason I want the 15x7 Konig's is for the light weight (13 lbs.).

I have a 100 mile commute everyday, otherwise I'd keep my 17's.

And I said not an extreme stretch, just a tiny bit is good. Brazdon has the same size (15x7) wheel with a mild stretch and it looks good.

Just not looking to spend over $700 on a wheel/tire combo.

The 15x7 Konig's are great for what I want.

I'm not up on offsets really, was just going by the recommended guide.

If I got +20, what would I need to do to compensate for it?

you'd want camber bolts, and a .060" washer installed under each rear bolt of your rear hub.

there's also this:

Nice wheel but it's the same specs as the Konig really. (except 20 vs 25 offset), and the Konig is still cheaper and I like the looks better.

Where can I get the camber bolts (and/or washer) for the Yaris?
