simota air filter

ordered a simota air filter from Yaris Universe (i got the link here) i guess he is one of our vendors, anyway got it in 3 days

i don't know if it is just me or not but the car seems to run MUCH better than before. i don't know what a K&N feels like but i can tell you at $35.00 including shipping (vs 49.50 + shipping for K&N) i am very happy with this buy. and the service YARIS UNIVERSE gave me was great !

I used to have a Simota drop-in too, I felt a small difference in pep and also noticed a small difference in MPG.

I also ordered one through kargoboy (yaris universe). Service was great also along with the price. Noticed a bit more pep to the engine espically on the high rpms side of things. Ususally I drive for mpg but wanted to see the difference it made in performance. Right now I am on my second tank for mpg. The first one kept it a my ususal driving, 80/20 Hwy/cty, no more than 60mph on interstate, netted 43.7mpg. Ususally I net almost 41mpg. Halfway through the second tank and will let you know how this one turns out.

You'd probably see a difference changing from a dirty OEM stock paper filter to a clean OEM stock paper filter.

Only if you didn't mind doing a rebuild of the engine in the near future

well my trip netted 45 MPG 387 miles 8.6 gallons

That is the best milage i have ever gotten, pretty good if you consider i traveled at the speed limit 55 to 70 miles per hour on the interstate

Just got done with the second tank. Went 353.5 miles/8.070 gallons= 43.8mpg. So far form the Simota drop in I have seen at least a 2mpg gain and a little more response when I need to step on the gas.
