Sound when making a left turn (a water flow sound)

Hi,

I have begun noticing a sound that sounds like water flowing over some pebbles when I turn left. My wife has a fountain that pumps water across this slate, and it sounds very similar to that, and when I am coming out of my turn it sounds a bit more like a pouring water from one cup to another.

So imagine I'm turning left.

1 second into it I hear the water fountain sound for about the duration of the turn.
As I pull out of the turn I hear the water pouring sound (really quick). and than nothing after that.

I have notice that the car is smelling a bit more like mildew. I pushed up a plastic rod into the ac drain (about 5") and it didn't seem to be clogged. Does that drain need to be cleared beyond 5 inches (13 cm)

The sound does not happen when I am at a dead stop and turn the wheel.

I'm assuming that the sound and the increased smell may be related. I don't like to assume, because it makes an ass ... well you know...

Any ideas?

Best,
J

sounds like you got water in your air con , and the drain tube is probably
blocked as well.

Yea I have that problem too, when I start to hear it Ill pull over, lift up the carpet slightly under the dash, you will see a black hose (kinda looks like a big bendy straw. all I do is squeeze and "milk" the hose a few times and the water will come out. Not really a big deal just do it before you have a katrina flood scene in the pass area.
