Springs - Tanabe DF210 or Tein S Tech
Hi all,
I got my LB last week and planning to lower it down. I never do any mod my car before and I have a few questions. Which spring are better? Tanabe DF210 or Tein S Tech? How much to get it installed? Thanks. Andy |

I bought the Tanabe DF's and love them so far. The car rides quite smooth still, not all bouncy like most lowered cars I've driven. I'm quite pleased with the ride.
I wont buy ANYTHING Tein after my SS coilovers blew out and they wouldnt warranty them 6 months after the original purchase. |

i would get the Tein S.Tech's. i did some review research online, and a little more people like the Tein's better. some members here have mentioned rubbing with their Tanabe's. i've have both my parents, my brother, and a wheelchair in my Yaris, and no rubbing. i had a full car load (5 people total in car) and backpacks, and never rubbed. we didn't even have to use a spring compressor to install the springs.

I have the Df springs - also did the install myself. No complaints, but looking back on it now, I wish i would have gone a little lower. I had the tein on my eclipse and they were great - zero problems.

I got the DF's, love them, and they were quite a bit less expensive thant the Teins. I'm not racing this car, so I'm happy with what I got.

-update- I have done a lot of research and I have decided to go with the Tein Coilovers over megan
as far as Tein over Tanabe DF springs, I would be pretty torn myself, both seem to be very well made products, good branding anyway I have heard from -many- that the Tein springs settle -very little- while I have heard from many that their DF's settled considerably-not sure what this really says about them but just something I have noticed.
