Halo Projector Fog Light Bulb - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hi there!

I recently bought these (exact same seller and picture/description) off of eBay, and one of the projector bulbs died after a couple weeks of use. Is this normal? (I plugged the other side's assembly and bulb in to the dead side, and it worked, so I know it's the bulb or the assembly(unlikely?).

Also, does anyone know what sort of model the bulb would be? The seller replied that they are standard size, but (as I've never bought a bulb before) I don't know where I should go and what model name/number/size/etc to ask for.

It's not normal for bulbs to die so quick, I would question how sealed the lights are or the integrity of them.

"Normal" foglight bulbs on a Yaris are H11, so I can only assume that's what they mean.

Personally, I would use the 60 day warranty they claim and go for a refund or replacement.

So, if they're projector lights, is it just a standard bulb with a special lens in front?

yep just a standard bulb,most in the fogs is a H11 bulb.......most the bulbs that ever came with any lights I ever got lasted a month tops...pretty sure they use cheap ones most times to save on cost.

Parts store and find a Sylvania bulb that is same number and it should last much longer.....My Nokia's also lasted a good 8 months till my relay toasted and I am just too lazy to go buy another for $9,but the bulbs still work.....giv that a try and see how long they last.

ugh...I've owned a BMW with angel eyes and they were nice, but I would never put "halos" on anything else.
