2014 Hatchback Replacement Exhaust. Who Makes?

Just bought a 2014 hatch and the previous owner did a botched job with the exhaust system. They cut the flange off the end of the front pipe and welded a crap muffler on. I want to order a replacement muffler which multiple companies make but for the front pipe I don’t see any for 2012-2017. Only OEM Toyota for $1200. All of the exhaust companies make the front pipe to 2011 and then stop.

Anyone replace the front section of theirs yet with OEM style or will I have to get custom?

Damn dude. $1200.

My exhaust failed back in 2012 and the aftermarket exhaust the exhaust place put on my car wouldn't seal properly to the down pipe from the manifold. Caused it to set P0420 and in the end i had to pay a little over £400 for the OEM one from Toyota.

Find an OEM one from a junkyard, that would be your best bet.

Looks like you're out of luck if you want an aftermarket bolt in OE style b pipe. If you can find a third gen hatch at a junkyard that would be the best option. Third gen's are rare so you might have to go with the custom option. If that's the case you can get the exhaust shop to put a factory style flange in the original location so you can use an OE style muffler section. You might also want them to put in a universal resonator if it's missing now.

I ended up comparing a 2nd gen to a third gen and the Mufflers are the same and the only difference with the exhaust pipes is the location of the rear hanger. I’m going to cut the rear hanger and install a hanger in the correct position. Gasket part numbers are the same as well. Amazon had a bosal pipe for $206 and advance had a walker muffler for $60.
