2009 Toyota Yaris OEM Cruise Control DIY

Trying to install a OEM cruise control on my girlfriend’s 2009 Yaris Base Manual Transmission. Going to drill the hole in the cover. Have been reading the FAQ on here and as far as I can tell I need to order 3 parts:

Toyota OEM Cruise Control Stalk: 84632-34011

Toyota OEM Cruise Control Stalk Wire (Required to connect the stalk to the spiral cable, within the steering wheel):84633-42030 or 84633-02020 (this new PN has replaced the other)

Cruise Control Clutch Switch (Required for all Manual Transmission Yaris): 88280-14030

Is this correct?

Does the stalk wire not come with the stalk?

One dealer gave me a different PN for the stalk. Has the one above been superseded?

Is it better to buy from a dealer’s site, to avoid counterfeits and what not?

Where is the best place / price you guys have found to buy the parts?

Thank you in advance.

The wiring for the stalk is sold separately from the stalk. The part number has changed, but the stalk has not. I suspect that Toyota sometimes revs the part numbers when they change suppliers of parts.

I sell all of the cruise control parts for quite a bit less than dealer prices.

I don't have an online store, but sell them directly to forum members. For her MT you will need the clutch switch, stalk, wiring harness and mounting screws, If her 09 is a sedan without power windows or locks, you will also need the two pins for the steering column connector. The link in my signature to my CC DIY details the parts and requirements by year and configuration.

I PMed you purchase details.
