For everyone that has done this... Are there any tricks to removing the back door trim? All the repair manual says is
4. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in
protective tape, slide the handle plate of the back
door trim board to disengage it.
(b) Disengage the 3 claws and 9 clips and remove the
back door trim board.
With this illustration:
I'm guessing that you just remove the little handle plate, then slowly pull the whole thing off (similar to other interior trim pieces, e.g. radio trim, A/C trim, etc.).
That sound about right?
Figure it might be a little easier to ask ahead of time instead of standing there looking at the panel and going, "hmmm?..." while scratching my head.
