Never heard of these wheels, Evoke....any opinions?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

is what i'm looking to get. they're cheap, and yokohama parada tires or the new nitto tires.

any way, i'm pretty sure they're better than roja or rota wheels, but the $675 wheel/tire combo is kinda hefty. but it includes free shipping..???

Evoke wheels are good. They are just like generic drugs... same active ingredient(s), but for half the cost.

I had a set when I used to own a Suzuki Reno. They looked great and were well-made. I never had any problems with them. Go for it.

well my point for opinions is....just like rota wheels, if they're cheap they'll crack. but the price is right. under 400 shipped.

One day, I was driving through Lawrence, KS, trying my best to not get lost and drove over this enormous pothole. The right passenger wheel was bent, but the tire still maintained pressure. I got home later on that night and emailed the guy who handles the eBay Evoke sales and he quoted me a replacement price of $100/wheel, shipped, which is a pretty good replacement price. So, in the event that something does happen to your wheel, at least you won't have to pay an arm and a leg to have it replaced, and it will be done in a timely matter. When I ordered my Evoke set it arrived within that same week.

how is that a good deal? $100/wheel for a no-name brand is good?

For a 17" wheel with shipping included, yes, I think so. Besides, this isn't a "new" company. They've been selling hundreds of these wheels for at least 4yrs now. I've known a few others on the Suzuki forum who purchased these wheels and had no problems. Just because YOU haven't heard of them doesn't make them junk. I think they are a viable option. However, I have never purchased tires from them. For tires, you definitely do want to go with a trusted name.

i'll be ordering these wheels when i get the 650. it's ridiculous to pay 200 for shipping when you get tires for another 200 and shipping is free. so, tires for 200..yay. the tires i was planning on ordering were yokohama parada's. love those tires...specially for the price. 86 bux on tirerack, and have them same day if sears or firestone carry's and will price match.
