Coin Holder

How many of you feel there should be a coin holder in our cars?
I'm not sure, if the liftback offers one, but I'm not able to find a place where I can easily get to my change.

Here is an off topic question. How come they didn't put a glove box on the driver's side in the sedans? Looks like there is space.

They sell coin holders at your local auto parts store.. on the bottom is heavy duty double side tape.. position it where ever you please!

I can post a pic of one I have here, if needed.

Hmm, I I'll stop by my local part stores and see what they have in stock.

Thanks!

If that coin holder can hold your coins after a drive, then you aren't driving hard enough. :D

Here's a pic... a very crappy pic at that!!

You get the idea though.

Some 3M body tape behind it, or velcro even, and put it where ever the heck ya want!

Walmart sells a few different types, they are in the automotive section with all the little, random auto accessories. Or, autozone, pep boys, Advance Auto Parts, whatever auto parts store you go will have them. There are a few different styles, I like the one above

Thanks for the pic Chris. That's exactly what I'm looking for.
I went to a Walmart & Autozone, but neither had them.
I'll keep looking this weekend.

cup holder

Given the ridiculous location of the driver's cup holder, I would have thought the Yaris already had a coin holder. Unless you're left handed, the cup holder is totally useless and in my case simply serves as storage.

Hmm.. I've had my s-sedan for awhile now, and just now found the storage compartment under the power mirror controls on the drivers side.. holds lots of things nicely.. Including all my change. You realy can't see it unless you look for it..

Hehehe I LOVE the cup holders, so cool and original. And I'm left handed, so I've never found it bothers me at all to any extent!

And in our hatchbacks here in Canada, yes, there's a coin holder in the driver's glove box, but also, just under the switch for the dimmer for the interior lights, there's a little neat compartment that pulls out, where u can store stuff! Change would be PERFECT to put in there IMO.

yeah, i love the cupholder where it is as well, and i am right-handed. it is a little unorthodox, but i think it is sheer genius.

with the cup holder high, you can easily see your beverage without taking your eyes off the road and you don't have to reach far or feel around the gear shifter to find your beverage (which is what i had to do in my old car).
