eBay Alert: Sport Pedals.

As a public service announcement I figured I would pass along this info. I recently purchased these pedal covers:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/autobahn-kra...BXp~r2&vxp=mtr

They are for the Scion xD but I can confirm that they will fit both 2nd and 3rd gen Yaris as well.

I also noticed that there is a listing for the Scion xD manual transmission version from a different seller:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/autobahn-kar...FRU5l1&vxp=mtr

Again these will fit both 2nd and 3rd gen cars.

I am not selling these. I have no relationship with the sellers. I'm just passing this along for those who might be interested.

The name of this company is so random haha. Autobahn Kraftwerk literally means Highway Power Plant if you translate it. It's as pointless as Rauh-Welt Begriff which means Rough World Term. Do you know any other company who just mixed random German words ?

Cool, I might give the 3-pedal manual version a try. Nothing to lose really @ $19.99+5.99.

Did the basic quality/construction feel good to you when you were handling the ones that you purchased?

Yes seemed of good quality to me. These were originally dealer installed options and cost about $60 or so. After the unintended acceleration fiasco of a few years back Toyota stopped selling them. They are no longer made and pretty hard to find nowadays. That's why I posted here.

I purchased a set for my Yaris (Asian version), worked well.

The one on the first eBay link are made in China, so what you meant is that these aren't the same quality as the Toyota ones, but still good enough for daily driving and there's no more aftermarket ones made that fit the Yaris nicely ?

Right now they're at $5 best offer plus $14 USA shipping.

Yes made in China but exact same quality as the Toyota ones because they are the Toyota ones. These were dealer installed options, sold thru Toyota dealers, manufactured by OBX.

These are the xD version. There was a Yaris version (as well as Camry, Corolla, RAV4, etc.) but I have not seen any for sale anywhere for years.
