Problem with fog light from MI

I tried to install my foglight tonight...

I put the fog in place with bezel...pass the two wires in the fuse box...ground it...plug the wire in the bulb...

Then plug the switch...ground it...plug the yellow/green wire in the D4 pin 3 and the orange/yellow wire to the yellow wire that was in the d4 pin 3...

Put the Relay in place

The switch light a little bit in permanence and when i push it ..it lights more...

But the fog never lights on..

What can be my problem....:(

To start with, ignore the switch wiring, turn the headlight switch on and to low beams and
and just jump the wire in pin 3 of the headlight connector to the wire in pin 4.

If the fogs light, then the relay and the wiring under the hood is fine.

After that, I prefer the DIY that I put together as it eliminates the issue of the fog light switch being illuminated when the car is off. It does require modifying the switch and cutting apart the harness that was included with the kit.

When I jump pin 3 in pin 4 it lights :D

So I tapped the Yellow/green wire to the pin 4 (lowbeam so it is like OEM)

I cut the wire on pin 3 and use the side of the wire that go to the relay...not the side that go to the oem stalk..AND solder it to the orange/red wire of the switch...

Everything works perfectly except one thing..

The switch light a little bit in permanence...which I can bypass by cutting the resistor of this light...

but when I pushed the switch and that the lowbeam are on...the fog lights....but there is no light on the switch which is bad...

But if the stalk is in parking light or off....the led of the switch lights a lot...like it would be supposed even on lowbeam..

WHat would be my problem ?

Should I have tapped the two parts of the pin 3 instead of just one side ?

The problem is that the switch is not intended to be used with the OEM wiring.

If you wire it per my DIY, the light on the switch will only come on when the headlight switch is on and it will stay on whether or not the fogs are on, so you can find the switch in the dark.

It is based on the wire's position in the connector as to which wire goes to what (and the 4 wires coming off the connector should be completely separated into four separate ends).
