Will my '098tercel wheels/tires fit on a '06 Yaris?

Hi all,
I'm thinking of buying a yaris to replace my dying tercel and was wondering if I would be able to keep my wheels and tires?

Will it fit? Will it be safe?

thanks!

If you get a yaris with mag rims stock, Toyota will give you lug nuts with a retained lock washer on each lug. I was unable to use these on my 2nd set of rims (BBS Basketweaves) and had to run to autozone and pick up a new set of 12 x 1.5 (not 12 x 1.25 like autozone will tell you...) lug nuts ($30 for a set of 20 lock nuts) because the stock lugs don't have the clearance needed to tighten down on some rims. If I'm feeling ambitious today I'll snap a pic of what I mean with my phone so that my statement makes sense.
