Single or Double DIN?

Metra makes both and they are all over the internet. You will not find in local retail outlets if that is what you are doing, prompting you to state impossible to find or just not made.

Single DIN, seems as I can only find 2007 and up kits. I think the 2007 and 2006 are different styles

When searching online, you will 99.99% of the time be looking at American websites. As the States did not get the Gen2 Yaris until model year 2007, their vehicle databases do not recognize 2006.
Something to keep in mind when doing part searches. The 2006 is exactly the same as 2007 so no worries on compatibility.

FYI, FutureShop no longer exists as of March 2015. Best Buy bought them quite a while ago and finally closed the last few. Just in case someone is trying to find the part at FutureShop.

bestbuy.ca is showing the single DIN kit only. No DDIN at all for any automotive brand. Weird.

I guess one of the only options left is Crutchfield Canada...
