17" rims

If i wanted to get these rims for my Black Sand Pearl would they fit... I know nothing about rims, but I like these :)

here are the spec info :
Size 17x7.0
Bolt Pattern 4x100 & 4x4.50 Dual Drilled
Off-Set +40mm
The tires included are 205/40HR17 Kumho 711.

They are $699.00 for the set with tires and $99.00 for shipping to FL.. is this a decent price, and will they fit.. any advice would be great .. I am just a girl trying to pimp my ride lol

Well, if you like the style and are really not too concerned about performance, I would say go for it! The price is good and they will fit, but from the looks of it they are very heavy (but this may be of no concern). Kumho 711s get attacked as being crappy tires alot, but for the price they are actually pretty darn good.

I sent an email to the shop asking the weight since its not listed.. I am just waiting for a reply.. what is a good to decent weight?

I know nothing about preformance, but I am trying to learn...

hahaha fugly in the new cute I like things a little different :) ..plus its just an example ..most of the rims that I have found in my area have the same size set up as this package and I just wanted to make sure this size would fit the car before I start really search ..its better to be an educated consumer than a chump with no clue... like I said I know nothing about rims/wheels/tires and the only way to find out is to ask... I plan on buying them in person not ordering them offline, so I don’t want to be ripped off because I am a female...

They should fit nicely. Check out wheel max for rims and tires if they are a little too pricey for you. I know wheel max has free sipping and thats where my friends get all their stuff from.

Hey does anyone know what the preferred tire size is on the sedan if you go to 17 inch wheels??? I just did a tire calculator check and it seems that 215/45/17 is the closest to getting it to the same sidewall height if a 185/65/15 is your stock. I was wondering if they would be too wide. Any thoughts???

you really should try to keep the over all tire diameter the same, using a lower profile tire, other-wise the already to tall sedan will look, even taller.

actually the stock tire size is 185/60/15 and the best choice for 17" tires will be 215/40/17's

I am going to lower the car and I know how it is to ride on 205/40/17, and pot holes do not discriminate. Plus I love my wheels and dont want to end up buying a new one if I crush one so all the sidewall I can get will help. I went to http://www.eunos.com/tirecalc/ and started typing in sizes compared to the stock tires and 215/45/17 was almost exactly the same, and they are even cheaper then 215/40/17's, but I wasnt for sure they would fit. I just want to fill in that nasty @$$ fender well gap. I mean it shouldnt be that different just sidewall height. The width would not be an issue correct?????

I like those rims, I dont have a hate for chrome as most others do.

So you got wheels before the car... do you set them up in the drive and imagine a car around them? .... lol. JK

BTW, thats a great price - cant pick up wheels here for that price unless theyre those cheap rims from 'Crappy Tire'
