weird plastic melting smell

Hey guys....the past few days have been weird...as i drive i can smell a melting plastic scent...it started after i put in the weapon r dragon intake....could that be it???.... or is it like a clutch smell....

are you sure it's not a sulphur smell? There is a TSB to replace the catalyzer due to this smell, you might wanna check into that.

As kurokoma-kun said, check to see if there is plastic wrapping you did not take off the intake that could be melting on the engine.

Or check under the car, there could be some kind of road debris stuck somewhere on the exhaust.

aiight check that....i have a reason to bleieve that its the tire rubbing on the plastics.....other than that....i dunno


also....what does a burning clutch smell like????

More of a metallic smell. What makes you think it the clutch? Any other noises etc?

lately ive been changes my seating positions so ive been making the car jerk alot....so i thought it could be the clutch but its not a metallic smell... whew!

I sell clutches, if it's your clutch is burning, trust me you'll know the smell. (sorta like smoldering newspaper).

If you clutch is not slipping, especially in the higher gears you should be alright.
