I think an 07 rear bumper will remedy your tailight fitment issues.
Assuming you don't want to shell out the $ for a jdm rear.

i guess i'll ask before someone else does. can we get a pic of the lights projecting on a wall or something? have you noticed any deceased visability?

it's like putting on sunglasses of course the visability will decrease. That being said I would not reccomend this to anyone without fog lamps.

I thought HIDs increased visibility. Or do you mean for the drivers of on-coming cars due to glare?

I see now. Hard to tell in the night shots though. They still look pretty bright
