Not only do I have a whole stack of vinyl but I have a Victor Victrola XI...

I also have about 100 of the records it plays. I even have a record of Pres. Woodrow Wilson's wife singing God Bless America to raise money for the Red Cross.

Wow, you are so lucky to have that. Since a kid I've always been fasinated with turntables and phonographs. Never thought they would be replaced by cd's, mp3's and such. Thanks for the picture.

Nice!

The Audio World is a funny place. In this day and age of MP3s, some of us are going back to older electronics, even tube amps to get full quality sound. I replaced my superwhack "concert-quality" speakers with an old set of speakers (14",5", and 2"), and there was a big difference in sound, MUCH better. Can't say why...

I used to listen to The Monkeys and The Bay City Rollers as a kid, from there I move to KISS and Alice Cooper.

OK, hopefully I won't get run out of town with pitch forks and torches for this one.

Hi everyone...[insert 'hi' back here]...I have a confession to make. I love live theater music. Hello Dolly, Joseph and His Techno Dream Coat, Jesus Christ Super Star, The King and I. I'd say Rent is my all time favorite. The song I'll Cover You nearly brings me to tears every time I hear it no matter how many times I hear it.

Oh the Footloose era...what a dark time in our social history. I was so damn hot (in my mind) with my mullet and polo shirt (collar popped of course!) cruising my mom's Ford Escort station wagon.

Yeah, I didn't get laid a lot...

Rent is actually not as bad as its reputation, its just underwritten cause the guy who wrote it died right after the first performance. I like "Take me or leave me" a lot, too.
