I had them only paint it for me. I installed the bumper myself to make sure the grill inserts and garnish was installed properly. The fender and bumper gaps were tight. Had to semi force the fit but got them to go.

Looks AWESOME!

Tells us how the factory grill parts worked with the aftermarket bumper?

Also, is that the TRD garnish between the upper and lower grill or is it just painted black?

Grill pieces are held in place by the existing tabs on new bumper. Guessing that they were part of the mold when bumper was formed by vis. They were not precise. Used some small flat washers in between a few of the tabs as a wedge to secure the grill to them. Trd garnish is authentic and came prepainted from japan gunmetal grey. Had body shop spray it same color as cowl section. Held on with pre placed 3M double sided tape and license plate bracket. First time I went to pick it up from body shop I wasn't pleased with the work they did. Told them I wasn't gonna take the car in its condition at that time. The took it back in shop and ended up cutting paint job two more times and got it right. Really thrilled on the final outcome.
Next on the list is a intercooled power enterprise supercharger and 15x7 Enkei RPF1 (Black) Wheels

It turned out really good. I've been looking at getting a JDM bumper cover shipped from Japan for my car, but the cheapest shipping I can find is over $600.00, plus the cost of the bumper. It's good to see that the VIS turned out this well, as it will be well less than 1/2 the cost of sourcing one from Japan.

What license plate holder did you use?

Went down to car quest and got one of those universal license plate brackets. Turned out good.

Nope. I just had them paint it. I instaled it at home in the garage. Put in the grill inserts, garnish and license plate mount before I mounted it up. Had to order the shorter bumper brackets so the bumper would clear. Its sucked in more than the original bumper. The splash guard end pieces are different for the "rs" style vis bumper. There are gaps at either side. I'll have to try to find the right ones. The center piece of the splash guard bolts in the usual places.

Well I ordered the left and right brackets. Are you saying that this wont work Astroman? Read that I need the shorter brackets to move stock crash bar in an and bumper will fit.
Are these the correct part numbers for the shorter brackets?
