what is the size of the collector? If it's bigger then 2" then those with stock exhaust may experience power loss. Can you say bottleneck.

Go to page one.. looks like they reused the original bolts indeed.
Im guessing the studs included with the new header is for the collector, but not pre-installed?? Humm, maybe they had clearence issues when slipping the header in place, with the studs installed before hand? Man, I should just suck it up tomorrow after work, and get mine on!! This is soo unlike me to have mods sitting. |

I got mine on, used the stock bolts & nuts on the header & collector. Everything seemed to bolt up fine. No issues with it yet. No check engine codes. Took it for a drive and drove it for like 25 miles and so far so good. |

Mine's done! No hang-ups at all! All the parts went on great! Also...
NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT! NO RASPY SOUND! The car sounds relatively normal, just a little louder inside. The hardest part of the install was the removal of the stock header. Putting on the Megan takes about 15 mins. Good stuff! Here are some notes I'd like to mention... 1. All the stock bolts and nuts that hold the header to the engine are reused. 2. I had to hammer on the new donut with a rubber mallet. Easy. 3. The three studs, bolts, and washers are for connecting the header to the exhaust pipe and to the little bracket right there. The car doesn't seem to have lost anything down low, but the top end is a lot more spirited. A quick dash onto the interstate brought this to truth. Thanks for an excellent group buy! Good luck to all those still waiting to install!

the general time from for this install is 15-30 minutes total? Were you using a lift or at home on the garage floor?
