My Dyno Run

guys, this is my cars dyno run... the car came as an 1.5s 1nz-fe, auto, full stock, for some reason it was equipped with a 2nz-fe intake manifold, dont ask why, i got this car used from a car dealer.

my 1st original run, 1zz-fe throttle body, 4-2-1 header, stock mid and blitz nur-spec S-Flow Exhaust, nothing else.

2nd run, after a lot of 4-2-1 and 4-1 debates, switched back to the 1nz-fe throttle body, after that i bought a 4-1 header, 0.2mm thick, mandrel-bent full stainless steel piping with a huge S-Flow midbox, wouldn't say its fully S-Flow, it just enters from the top in the inlet, appears middle in the outlet, both 2 inches wide, full stainless again to the rear, then the blitz nur-spec S-Flow Exhaust

3rd run, after that was done, i did a lot of research regarding the differences of 1nz-fe intake manifold and the 2nz-fe intake manifold, got the same responses, they are the same, not satisfied,i got myself the 1nz-fe intake manifold, plugged it in with the 1nz-fe throttle body, got myself this, a headspinner.

CRAZY, 14whp!

4th run, this time i did the 1nz-fe to the 1zz-fe throttlebody transplant, but noticing the difference between 46mm and 55mm, i decided to create a spacer that would downsize the hole, to create a better airflow, and i got this

bear in mind that all these are done without the engine management control..

more to come......

I'm amazed great numbers... The difference has to be really noticeable when you floor it

At first i was like...wtf...but then i read.

Nice work...still a little low...i dunno if thats gas or automatic or what but your close to where it should be

For reference mine was 107/104 with just a full exhaust...now its 105/104 (with more midrange torque) with a Tooter spacer and a short ram (power was even less with the stock airbox and the Tooter...like 103/103). My part throttle torque still amazes me

Ragnacat: its quite noticeable...

malibuguy: yes, its quite low, its gas, automatic and i am still not impressed yet. i do get that my car is a bit shy when it comes to full throttle, it sort of going up the steps, lots of torque, then it slows, then repeats, not so much of noticeable, but its there, i can feel it, anyone experienced this kind of symptoms before?

Its not crap, but 1nz-fe intake manifold is a recommended upgrade, based on the dyno charts..
