Weird noise upon turning - Toyota Yaris Forums

So recently took the car about 400km North of Sydney, Australia for a road trip. It is only after i came back that I realised there was a strange noise when turning. During that trip, my friend did go through a pothole, so I'm guessing its related to the noise. Any thoughts/suggestions?

What is the noise? Have you taken the wheel off to check? How old is your car? How many miles?

Could be anything.

could be clips ripped off the plastic fender liner. who knows, like rningonfumes says, what sound does it make, at what speed, and how hard do you have to turn. A visual inspection should be helpful

It sounds like what i can only describe as tyres rubbing against the fender. It only appears when I do half to full turns at around 20kmh. The thing is, the car isn't even lowered, although I did change the wheels and tyres to 205/45/16. Probably should take it to the dealer to get it inspected. It sits at 25000k's. Again hitting that pothole is my only conclusion as I've never heard the noise before it.
