Yeah that's quick... but the engine blowed up.

So no, is not a good example of tuning.

That is a Puerto Rican xD with a gettho turbo set up. There were 2 of those put togeather by the same person

This guy ran his car with no tunning or engine management and took it up to 12 psi. It lasted just a few months. The engine is currently down with waiting for full rebuilt.

For the fuel this guy used larger injectors (TC) plus a 5th injector set up using a Mustang 5th injector.

Like any hot affair, I'm sure the few months was memorable.

So he was irrelevant with the cars tuning! When you turbocharge a car you must fully build the engine and have a new ECU or reprogramme the stock ecu . Am i right?

no. you don't need to build the engine

yes, you should figure out some way to add fuel and remove timing

There is alot to be concidered and must all depends on the power levels you want to achive.

For lets say 5psi he can probably would get away with no tuning, perhaps just bigger injectors.

For 5psi - 10psi you will need some form of Fuel / timing tuning.

For 12-14psi (that's what he was pushing) probably you should be looking for some forged rods and lower comp pistons.

But some good info came from this guys experience...

This engine the 2ZR-FE seems to have some really good flow characteristics as initially this dude made 210Whp on only 8psi
This is from an engine that pushes around 115-118 whp stock.

Also, this guy took the boost up and didn't break anything... And he was drag racing and really pushing the car. That says something about the internals...

It looks like this engine could easly handle 10psi of boost, 230whp all day long.
That is with a good tune OBVIOUSLY!!!

That would make one hell of a Daily driver won't you think?

I have heard that the 2ZR FE is a stronger engine than its procedesor. It has a little bit enforced block and moving internals than the 1ZZ!! It is different than the other vvt-i's it can be tuned more easily.....
