Hi

Any idea about those two connectors next to SPORT and Traction switch.

Thanks.20180806_174229.jpeg20180805_185600.jpeg20180805_185553.jpeg

I don't know if us folks in the States get the traction control and sport button you have there, so I'd have no idea what the other two dead panels are for.

In my '07, all I have down by the hand brake is the AUX jack. The other three spots are dead panels. I'm about to have an airbag bypass switch installed in one of them.

Sorry, wish I could have been more help!

In North American cars, I'm used to seeing 2 of the 4 blanks utilized for power locks and AUX port.

With Google image search I have seen the following buttons installed in that quad.

AUX
Power locks
Sport
ECO
Security
Traction control

My guess would be you have the wiring in there for optional AUX input and power locks. Are your door locks currently manual?

Are the eco and sport buttons plug and play or do they need to be programmed.

What does sport do hold gears longer?

In Canada all I have on top trim 17 se is trac

Pulled the panel, no extra harnesses on the Canadian model

You don't because you have a 4EAT, not a CVT or a hybrid. They wouldn't do anything.

Also, the 3rd gen Yaris puts power locks switches on both front doors instead of the middle as well as the aux/usb being in the glove box or by the cigarette lighter depending on the year.

From memory, the random switches that go in that center spot are Sport, Eco, EV mode, Traction Off, and heated seat switches.

Yes I have traction off and Sport switch. I'm just wondering is that for heated seat? Mine was pre wired for fog lamp but there was no fog lamp or stalk switch for that. So the same way is the seats already with heated pad without switch. Any way to find out whats those connectors
