for wheels i want to do the axis og-san black center 15's
i know everyone says go bigger but i really like the way the yaris looks with some tire on it
the car is bubbly and i think it works well with it.
ill see if i can find a picture of the wheels i want :)

I agree, the Yaris does look good with some tire. I went with 17s because 18 or more was just too much rim. I probably would have been happy with 16s as well, but I got a killer deal that I couldn't pass up.

I think those wheels are awesome! They'll look great on your Yaris.

Personally, I would go with the colour in the photo, NOT black!

Black is way overdone, and so NOT Japanese.

BTW, what's the rim width and offset, and what size tires are you thinking about going with?

black is overdone, thats a good point
the wheels were made for xa,xb,yaris lb by axis
i haven't looked up offsets because thats how i saw it advertised in a magazine
i do know the wheel is 7" wide
as far as tires i've always liked kumho tires
so im going to get them again
i had a set on my old car and they lasted forever and stuck to the road like glue ;)
i will probably get the equivalent size of what it would be now with those wheels on
i like the size of the overall wheel/tire as it is now
ill have research actual sizes more :)

I don't like black with a polished lip very often but walter has a set of konig remembers that are black with a polish lip and they are rad. He was trying to sell them too. You may get an excellent deal already wrapped in rubber. Just a thought.

I like white on white/gold rims!

Don't like white w/ black rims unless they're trying for the panda look.

Okay, I looked up the Axis website, and sure enough those wheels are 15x7's with an ET35, and they cost $150 each!

Well, they're not cheap, but afterall they are nice wheels.

The colour you posted is graphite, which is the way I'd go with your white HB.

I see the Axis website states they fit the Yaris. I only reiterate this because a 35mm offset is rather low for the Yaris up front. Perhaps other Yarisworld members might like to comment.

I'll post a better reply later on ET35 for the Yaris.

Okay. Well, with a 35mm offset and 205's, for example, you'd be sticking out up front.

With a lowered Yaris, other members have had rubbing problems running ET38 and 205's up front.

With a 15x7, I wouldn't run anything less than ET40 with 205's up front; otherwise, you're likely to have a rubbing problem.

I'd prefer to run 15x6.5's (or maybe 15x7's) with ET40 to 45mm. That way, you could run 205's without problems.

I know you like those Axis wheels, and I don't profess to know more than the distributor, but do your homework before you jump on them.

I like mesh wheels as well; they are very Japanese. (Of course, they "borrowed" them from the Europeans and did what they do best... made them even better in quality and design).

Unfortunately, there aren't many mesh wheels available aftermarket anymore. Americans seems to have lost interest in that design.

If you decide to go with the Axis wheels... good luck, and let us all know how they worked out for you.

If not, then I can point you in the direction of other readily available mesh wheels that may fit a little better on your Yaris.
