The NEW Nissan 370Z
Wow!
NissanZ1.jpg NissanZ2.jpg NissanZ3.jpg nis370z_09_2_gallery_image_large.jpg nis370z_09_wing_10_gallery_image_large.jpg 1.1 inches wider, 2.7 inches shorter and 90 pounds lighter than its predecessor. The sportier versions will come with a 332 HP 3.7L V6. Nissan is trying to consolidate platforms, so they ditched the old Z's FM platform in favor of their new E platform that sees a lot of use in the Infiniti lineup of cars. They have added automatic rev matching to their manual transmission in this version. Can you say F1? Oh, and if you want an automatic you'll have to settle for the 7 speed from the G37. Weight distribution is still at 54/46 front to rear. Pretty sweet car if I do say so myself. |

I don't like the front very much, but the rear is just hot. Here are more pics:

Unsure, let me do some digging and get back to you. In the first pics I can tell it is anodized red, but not sure on the others.

It's a rear fog light, but only in Japan and Europe, because US regulations wouldn't allow a rear fog light in that location....so it's a black plastic piece in this market

No worries. It being a foglight makes sense, but I think it makes it look ugly, in general I don't care for the look of the back, oh well, to each their own.

I must admit I am not at all a fan of Nissan's new "boomerang" head and taillight design language or whatever they call it... but this car does pull it off quite well!
And the car itself sure seems to be a really good evolution of the previous one which was just badass already... so it's all good! Nissan FTW
