1.5" Lower front & back: Snow issues?

Hi all,

I have my 07 sedan lowered with Megan Racing springs approximately 1.5"
both front and back. I also have rear TRD sway bar and a strut bar in front.
Tires are 195/60 all season with decent grip on light snow conditions.

I haven't drove the car with this setup on snow yet. On stock it was fine.

I am planning on a trip to VT this weekend. It will have some snow (~2")
and it got me thinking, maybe there are problems with snow accumulation
in the front.

Any experiences?

John

There are many discussions on being lowered in the snow.

MUSKOKA800 is running a sedan with similar setup albeit with proper dedicated winter tires. He has no issues with snow other than one time when he tried to blast through a pile left by a snowplow.

Yes, with proper snow tires you're good to about 4" of fresh snow before the under-carriage starts dragging. That isn't a problem in fluffy snow but heavy stuff is a challenge. The biggest issue, which would effect any car is plow berms and idiot neighbours who clear their driveways out onto the road before the plows pass. I made it 50 kl home from work only to get beached on my street in sight of home. Ugh!
