A really annoying ad and a whole lot of hype for another wickedly ugly Toyota.

Looks better than the stupid-looking "Thundercats" inspired Toyota C-HR. Shame that Toyota doesn't bring any of their better/smaller hybrids and/or model/trim cars to the U.S. market. Our market is just a dead zone, for whatever reason.

To each their own I guess... I like the looks for the C-HRs... I don't think the YC looks that bad neither... looks better than the fish face ones anyway IMO.

And supposedly here's the YC for Thailand:

Looks like they just raised their Yaris' chassis.

Yaris Cross is spectacular

This Yaris Cross looks like a spectacular vehicle: hybrid, AWD, plenty of ground clearance, Apple CarPlay and user-friendly infotainment, and it's small enough to park in a tight spot in urban environments. It looks way better than the newer Prius, which has been downright fugly (especially the rear) since the 2016 redesign. I'll certainly buy a Yaris Cross if they start selling it in North America.

Great work, Toyota. You're moving in the right direction with the mix of reliability, beauty, and useful features.

Yep, just another refresh on the existing car that's been around since 2013... Slight power bump is nice though.

I wanna get my hands on the suspension and some fat wheels :p

Ehh...not terribly ugly but not a looker either. I do like the hybrid powertrain, but doesn't matter, we will never see it in the US.

Unfortunate that it's a hybrid. Other models listed on the Toyota Australia site list towing capacity for normal models, and have no towing capacity listed for the hybrid versions.

This leads me to feel that Toyota do not recommend towing with the hybrid versions. My Yaris has no problems towing my small sailing boat - the trailer and boat together weigh 350 kilogrammes (about 770 pounds).

I seriously doubt this vehicle will ever hit the U.S. market, but I would very seriously consider trading in my current vehicle if it did.
