The width of a 2011 Yaris 3 door lift back is 66.7 inches as is the width of a 2012. The width of the five door is the same as the 3 door for both years.

I have this on my '08 hatch. It firms up the rear real nice. I paid $152 in '08 so the price has remained fairly stable.

I wanted to ask is the 2012 sedan the same as the 07-08 sedans, wanted to get the rear sway bar put on but the dealer said it wouldn't fit correctly so figured i'd ask to see if anyone knows if it would work on the sedan?

The 22mm whiteline sway bar is what you're looking for:

How thick is the TRD rear sway bar? 19mm or 22mm? I also look for TRD springs for Yaris III, but didn't found anything, could you give me a link please.
Regards

If you are upgrading the springs, then there is no need for the 22mm bar.
The TRD 19mm is just right.

For the TRD springs, many have not updated their catalog, do a search for 2011 yards. They work, I have a set installed.

Go here, good people:

whichever you prefer, depending on spring rates. Both are good names.

got this installed today and it does everything folks here claim it to do. however, I could hear some metallic rattling on my dirt drive. it is noticeable that the bar tucks farther up into the torsion beam on the right side than the left...close enough that it may be causing the rattling. either the bar is bent slightly at one of the curves or my torsion beam is crooked.

looking at tooters pics at the beginning of the thread, his bar seems equally tucked into the beam on both the left and right sides. I suspect the bar is off. my shipment got pushed back a day on the day it was supposed to arrive. makes me wonder if there was an "incident" with the package.

roxy, I had a similar problem like yours - sway bar bumping against the beam. I loosened both bolts and pulled the bar down a bit to prevent contact then tightened the bolts back up and it's been trouble-free since. You might have to hold the bar down a little whilst tightening the bolts.

It says in the instructions that the bar should not touch anything beside the mounting points!

Yes, installed without anything touching. But after I went for a drive, I could hear the "tapping" or "rattling" sound. Had to slightly re-adjust the position of the swaybar. (read: yank it downward, away from the beam).
