2011 FORD Fiesta pics...
of the BLUE FLAME METALLIC base model S with the 5 speed manual . Notice the reflective tail lights . These have no temp gauge like that of the YARIS far as I can tell .

more pics. The clutch is very smooth along with precise shifting . Didn't hear any rattles . Seems tight . Rode quite well with not much tire noise . These have the KUMHO Solus KH 25s ' . Look like good aggressive tread .

and more pics ... . Spotter mirrors for those blind spots , they're power mirrors as well . There's no gas cap . Uses a membrane for easy fills and less emisions from the tank .

this is the m.p.g. average ( 45.3 ) we had when we arrived at the lot of the FORD dealer to take another look at the FIESTA . This was 2 of us , hills , average speed of 48 ( est. ) , low 80s' , SHELL 5w-30 conventional oil , and 89 octane . This is average m.p.g. ( 43.4 ) and mileage when arrived home . The E.C. is set at 98 so reads little less than the calculated mileage when refilled . If set at 99 it reads to high . So it's likely averaging little over 44 m.p.g. thus far . There was a slight leak of the head gasket yet .

Leak at the head gasket? On a brand new car?

I don't like my spotter mirror right there. When I installed mine I put it over the portion of the mirror where you can see your car. Works perfectly!
How far do those seat fold down? |

The two tone is great. . . surprising it is not flex fuel capable. The aging Yaris can handle E20 (Thai market Yaris). The interior is great too! I also love the separate high and low beam lights. . . I hate 9003/H4's with a passion and prefer separate high beams.
I can't wait to see the hatchback model. And yes, PLEASE clarify on the head gasket leak!!!! |

The leak is on our 2008 YARIS sedan and 2010 3 door . Worse for the 2008 .There's several threads posted on it in the D.I.Y. section . Here they are www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28321 , www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28414 , and www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26502 .

I was just looking at the 2011 Mazda 2, and interestingly, they only list the automatic as a four-speed...

Today I saw the new Ford Fiesta hatchback on the road for the first time ever. I'm really impressed with the styling. Now I may have to go to a local Ford dealership and look at one more closely

Don't mean to offend, but Ford could make their cars fly, make coffee, and give BJs, but they would still be Fords...sorry, I do not trust American anything (car-wise, that is).
