Fuses?
I have no clue what I'm looking at in the in dash fuse panel.
My a/c control knob lights and center cluster dimmer switch no longer work. What do I need to check/replace to fix this? I have looked EVERYWHERE to find a diagram labeling what fuse and what plug does what with no avail. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance guys. -B p.s. this failure is a result of installation of an aftermarket head unit. its a JVC single DIN headunit connected with a metra wiring harness. |

Check the panel1 fuse in the panel that is under the bottom of the dash, by the hood release lever.

check the plastic piece you removed to get to the fuse panel, there's a diagram on the back with labels.

Check the MET and GAUGE fuses as well. With the Metra harness the most likely issue would be popping a fuse if you connected something incorrectly or made the connections with the battery still connected and accidentally grounded something that should not have been.

MET and GAUGE fuses were intact.
Rechecked PANEL1, it was bad. Replaced PANEL1, it blew. I must have a ground somewhere behind my headunit or amp...ill check my wiring tomorrow. Thanks for the help again CTScott. |

So I checked all my wiring. Everything seems in order. I went ahead and respliced my head unit harness just incase. But without a spare 7.5 fuse I wont know for sure. Ill pick one up tomorrow morning when I leave work. Ill post when I install it.
