How does this work exactly?

So I was looking to get a new stereo the stock one looks so bland (Silver and green).

Does an aftermarket one void any warranty? And how exactly do they fit it if it's alot thinner than the big ass block oem one?

http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en

That is what I had in mind.

This is just a general picture i found on Crutchfield, Metra and scosche both make kits for our cars but this is just a general idea on how they'd fit. And for 150 bucks you can get a pretty decent deck. Do a bit more shopping around.

That looks like the correct kit. They're easy to install...and modify.

You can probably get a better deck for 150 to 200 over that Sony though. Is it the look of the sony that you like or just the price?

They have a decent Pioneer for 159 on that site, and it has the Usb Options for the ipod ..If he has one. But if that place is similar to walmart they usually have them Deck and 6.5 specials for Christmas time. If not does walmart ship to canada, they have free shipping right now !
