porkchop Drives: yaris 2006 hb manual Join Date: Feb 2024 Location: squamish Posts: 2	Melted fuel pump assembly lifted the cover today un the rear seat to inspect the fuel pump since the tank is not venting causing filling issues, found the connection to the vent line on top of the fuel pump totally melted, and the ring that secures the pump into the tank is partially melted too. Incredible the fuel line didn't melt or catch on fire. Explains why the tank wont fill without regurgitation up the filler neck. Unbelievable. Will add pics later. Anyone come across this?
