Auto Windows (all of them auto)?

Has anyone done this type of conversion? I don't know if it is possible to have the auto roll down function like some toyotas or lexus have.

There is auto roll down and roll up as well, I think that all you need is a relay that controls the regulator and stops the window when fully closed or open, not sure. Good luck!.. You can also see someone specialized in car alarms, they will be able to tell you.

Mine only has auto for the driver's side. Passenger side would have to be retrofitted. Probably some electronics involved, not just a different switch - but that is just my guess.

I think there is some confusion in this thread...When you say auto down, do you mean the one touch roll down the window, or do you mean that the windows can be rolled down using the remote keyless entry fob?

there's a hall effect sensor in there and it counts how many revolutions tthe motor makes. so no, it's not just a switch.

but you could put a timed relay in there...and just set up the time for the relay to shut off when it reaches the max height. but then again you'd have to have steady voltage and amperage to the relay or timer...too much of a pita for me to do.

The easiest way is to use a DEI 530T for auto up/down on both windows (or for a 5 door or sedan, you use a second 530T for the back windows).

I put together a DIY a while back on wiring it up:
