Anyone Like this....Swap...

Man, their are a lot of swaps that have been into yaris. Here is the latest..

2zz-ge. A very tight fit.

This is a 4age 20 valve black to I believe. This motor is similar the the 2zz-ge. Both are strong high rev-ing motors. This motor has been proven to rev to atleast 10,000-11,000 rpm. Yes you read that right. I would rather have the 2zz because you have that sweet sound of lift.... But this one fits alot better that the 2zz-ge

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_A_engine#4A-GZE For more details on the 10,000-11,000rpm..

1. remove rear seats and hack up the rear floor
2. install engine, transmission and suspension from AW22 MR2 Turbo
...
Profit!

optional: remove original engine

I would love to swap for a 3-cylinder, 700cc, SULEV-2 engine. Imagine the MPG I could get out of it...

how about a hybrid diesel, if there is such a thing? You'd only need to refuel once a month

A friend and I have been thinkin about getting a trashed Yaris from an auction and doing this with his spare 3sgte out of his MR2... it would be kinda like a Renault Cleo.... just build a fire wall around the engine in th back mold some air duct in so the engine could breath.... that would be sick RR.... that thing would need a wheelie bar
