T.B polishing is really popular here, $50 for full polishing inside the T.B..i do not know about the hp gain but i want to know if anyone tried this 😃😃😃😃

There would be no power gains really. The only possible benefit that I could fathom is maybe slightly quicker butterfly actuation.

I just picked up a 1zz throttle body for my Yaris. That's the only real throttle body gain I've heard of for these cars so far.

From what I was reading up on, there can be some benefits to polishing the throttlebody, but usually when porting it a bit also. It had to do with removing any imperfections and opening the entrance a bit. Mostly trying to just remove the step as the air enters the TB.

That being said, even doing that on a factory setup probably won't net any benefit, with an intake and exhaust possibly, with an all out build I would imagine that it would help squeeze any hidden potential out of it.

Future: Turbo.

Then you did something wrong because low end is greatly improved with the 1ZZ TB.
