PTC heater in 2009?

My 2009 Yaris came with the AWG package, and I read here that the AWG package came with the PTC heater, though I'm not sure if that applies to the 2009 model year. Has anybody confirmed that yet? Is there any way that I could tell (perhaps a different fuse size?) other than trying it out, considering it seldom gets cold enough here to trigger it! :-)

Can it be seen by looking under the dash? I looked at the FSM but it's hard to tell if I'd be able to identify it!

The PTC heater operating conditions are as follows: "engine at idling speed or faster, ambient temperature is 10C (50F) or less, engine coolant temperature is 65C (149F) or less, and No. 3 heater control knob setting is MAX HOT." Also, blower has to be on.
[page 54 of A/C manual]

This only works if you have the Winter Package.

Not sure how you would check whether PTC is actually on.

I've done all of that, but I can't really say if it's getting hot any faster than I'd expect without a PTC. We've had a few colder mornings, but I'm not the one driving the car on those days. Is it supposed to be VERY noticeable?

We have the "All Weather Guard" package, which claims to have a "heavy duty heater".

It turns the PTC on in stages, 20 amps at 10 seconds, 30 amps at 20 seconds, and the full 40 amps at 30 seconds after the car's been on. Compare it to the heat-knob two or three clicks from full for 30 seconds, to starting with it cranked all the way up, you'll feel the difference quickly.
